"Kids Choice Awards"

Well its that time once again and the Kids' Choice Awards will be just as slimy and exciting this year as it has in the past. The Kids' Choice Awards is one of the biggest award shows in Hollywood if not, the Biggest! Why? Because its all about the kids and their choice for the best in Film, Music, Television, Sports and more. This year the show will be hosted by Kevin James and attended by a host of A-Lister and many of their off springs. As far as nominees, look to see the likes of Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Jay Z, Ne-Yo, Sandra Bullock, Shia LaBeouf, Kobe Bryant, and the list goes on and on. I mention this show because its all about the kids and because I will be one of forty artist selected from 9 states to groom and doll up 350 boys and girls whom will be attending the show in the first four rows. The event is sure to be a hit and tons of fun. The Kids' Choice Awards will be held in Los Angeles on Saturday March 27 and will be televised at 8pm. Check your local listing.

"Alexander the Great"

When I woke up this morning and went to one of my favorite gossip sites I found the news of Alexander McQueen's death and my heart just dropped. As a makeup artist, this man has fueled and inspired my creativity time and time again, and like many makeup artist I'm sure, I had many dreams of working with him. Alexander McQueen simply put, was pure genius when it came to his career as a fashion designer. He can not nor will he ever be replaced. I'm sure all of us involved in the beauty, fashion and entertainment fields, feels a great sense of loss today. His legacy will live on forever. R.I.P. Alexander.

"The Queen Gets Her Hair Worked"

I must say Madonna looks rather young and refreshed. Whatever her secret is, I'm sure many fifty year old woman would love to have it. Of course, one can say she has all the money in the World and the best surgeons at her beckon call. However, like most woman with means, I'm sure she has had some slight improvements. Nothing obviously drastic. However, I am a fan. Therefore, I use my words kindly! I still remember when Madonna hit the scene some 27 years ago and the media and press labeled her a tart, which would disappear as quick as she arrived. I guess when Dick Clark asked her what was her next goal and she said "to rule the Word", many thought she was just a wee bit arrogant too. Well she proved and continues to prove the arrogance she displayed was sheer talent. It appears she had no plans on going away then, and she's not going away now. Madonna is a marketing genius with no end in sight. As she once said, "as long as I have the energy to do what I love, I will continue to do so." All I can say, is keep rockin 'em girl. Looks like 52 is already looking better than 51........

"Larchmont Beauty"

Larchmont Beauty Center is one of the coolest beauty supply stores in LA. It's tucked away in this fantastic little shopping area referred to as Larchmont Village. Of course, they have all your standard favorites. However, because they cater to makeup pros who work in the industry, they have all sorts of goodies your normal beauty supplier would never carry. If you live in LA and you love makeup, you have to check this store out. If you don't live in LA or the US and you plan to visit, check out this wonderful little gem. I promise you will not be disappointed. Also, Larchmont Village is a wonderful place to grab a bite (delightful restaurants), shop at all sorts of cool boutiques or grab a cup of coffee and check out one of the best newsstand in LA where you can catch up on all your celebrity gossip. Oh yeah, if you're in to star gazing, you may just catch a star or two going about life as usual. For all I know, the woman in the photo could be famous.
