Starlets On the Move -"Arreyon Collins"

In this photo Arreyon's wearing a heavy lined eye, chocolate lip gloss and a beautiful bronzer. The look resembles a "Sexy Secretary." Conservative yet Alluring. To get her look, these are the the steps and products I used:

1.)Foundation Cream Base; take a dime size amount, warm on the back of hand and apply with fingers, foundation brush or latex sponge. Be sure to apply the product evenly.2.) Powder; set base with with translucent powder. Complete the finish with a Bronzer.3.) Eyes; brown matte, rust & cream shimmer shadows. Using a shadow brush, color the entire lid to the crease with the rust tone. With an angle brush, place brown in the crease and highlight the brow bone with cream tone.4.) Liner black cream; using a liner brush, starting from inner corner draw a thin line and gradually make it thicker as you come to the corner and wing it out slightly. With an angel brush, set the liner with a matte black shadow.5.) Brows; brown & black powder shadows. Using a brow brush, fill and shape the brows. Use the brown as the base color and slight bit of black for drama.Tip: Eyebrow sealer really does the trick.6.) Theatrical eyelashes; use lashes of your choice by placing glue on lash allow to dry for a few seconds (blow on 'em a bit) apply as close to the base line as possible. Use liner to mask any gaps.7.) Mascara; coat top lashes 2-3 times and once on the bottom.Tip: Blend natural lashes and fakes by using your baby finger to blend the lashes together and coat.8.) Blush; pull in cheeks and place blush from along side the jaw bone to the temple.9.) Lips; using the wand from the gloss tube or a lip brush paint a nice amount of gloss for "super sexy" lips.

"Out of the Loop"

Well I've been out of the loop for a moment, but I'm back and ready to put my all into blogging. Over the last several months I've worked with many different artist helping to create websites, blogs, photos and a variety of marketing ideas and tools. This has confirmed what I've always known, which is I love marketing, talking and writing. Of course, I love working as a makeup artist too, but with this economy, work is slow. Not that I haven't always lived on the edge, which is par for the course considering my craft is very competitive. However, like many others, I'm left to figure out ways to create interesting and fun opportunities for my self. Perhaps, with my expertise, love for the English language, popular culture, people, places and the arts, I can keep you interested enough to follow me and let me entertain you. "Creating Marilyn Monroe"

Well here I am putting the finishing touches on my Marilyn Monroe masterpiece. The model and I worked together for a hair salon shoot. The look the hairdresser was going for was of course, old Hollywood glamour. I use the term of course, since the model looks the part of a Hollywood Bombshell. It was a long exhausting day, but of course, we pulled it off with flying colors. I also had the pleasure to work with Mike Martucci, which is one of the model's favorite photographers among several other models, makeup artist and stylist. As always, I'm so happy to be part of a team creating art for all the World to enjoy.

"Kids Choice Awards"

Well its that time once again and the Kids' Choice Awards will be just as slimy and exciting this year as it has in the past. The Kids' Choice Awards is one of the biggest award shows in Hollywood if not, the Biggest! Why? Because its all about the kids and their choice for the best in Film, Music, Television, Sports and more. This year the show will be hosted by Kevin James and attended by a host of A-Lister and many of their off springs. As far as nominees, look to see the likes of Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Jay Z, Ne-Yo, Sandra Bullock, Shia LaBeouf, Kobe Bryant, and the list goes on and on. I mention this show because its all about the kids and because I will be one of forty artist selected from 9 states to groom and doll up 350 boys and girls whom will be attending the show in the first four rows. The event is sure to be a hit and tons of fun. The Kids' Choice Awards will be held in Los Angeles on Saturday March 27 and will be televised at 8pm. Check your local listing.

"Alexander the Great"

When I woke up this morning and went to one of my favorite gossip sites I found the news of Alexander McQueen's death and my heart just dropped. As a makeup artist, this man has fueled and inspired my creativity time and time again, and like many makeup artist I'm sure, I had many dreams of working with him. Alexander McQueen simply put, was pure genius when it came to his career as a fashion designer. He can not nor will he ever be replaced. I'm sure all of us involved in the beauty, fashion and entertainment fields, feels a great sense of loss today. His legacy will live on forever. R.I.P. Alexander.

"The Queen Gets Her Hair Worked"

I must say Madonna looks rather young and refreshed. Whatever her secret is, I'm sure many fifty year old woman would love to have it. Of course, one can say she has all the money in the World and the best surgeons at her beckon call. However, like most woman with means, I'm sure she has had some slight improvements. Nothing obviously drastic. However, I am a fan. Therefore, I use my words kindly! I still remember when Madonna hit the scene some 27 years ago and the media and press labeled her a tart, which would disappear as quick as she arrived. I guess when Dick Clark asked her what was her next goal and she said "to rule the Word", many thought she was just a wee bit arrogant too. Well she proved and continues to prove the arrogance she displayed was sheer talent. It appears she had no plans on going away then, and she's not going away now. Madonna is a marketing genius with no end in sight. As she once said, "as long as I have the energy to do what I love, I will continue to do so." All I can say, is keep rockin 'em girl. Looks like 52 is already looking better than 51........
