When I woke up this morning and went to one of my favorite gossip sites I found the news of Alexander McQueen's death and my heart just dropped. As a makeup artist, this man has fueled and inspired my creativity time and time again, and like many makeup artist I'm sure, I had many dreams of working with him. Alexander McQueen simply put, was pure genius when it came to his career as a fashion designer. He can not nor will he ever be replaced. I'm sure all of us involved in the beauty, fashion and entertainment fields, feels a great sense of loss today. His legacy will live on forever. R.I.P. Alexander.xo
